機師空中昏迷墜大西洋 美派F-16戰機馳援

【新唐人2014年8月31日訊】北美航太防衛司令部（NORAD）30日發表聲明，一架飛機疑因機師昏迷墜入大西洋，兩架F-16戰緊急升空馳援，目前失事飛機乘客人數不明。 據法新社報導，聲明表示，失事飛機是「無回應的通用航空飛機」，兩架戰機正在嘗試提供協助。這架飛機是從威斯康辛州的沃克夏機場（Waukesha Airport）起飛，飛往維吉尼亞州的瑪納薩斯機場（Manassas Airport），途中墜入大西洋。 據美國媒體報導，這架Cirrus SR20單引擎小飛機在飛行途中，機師昏迷，飛機闖入首都華盛頓的禁飛區，兩架戰機升空攔截飛機時，證實機師當時已失去知覺，不過，仍一直陪同其飛行，直至墜毀在維吉尼亞州外海約80公里的大西洋上。 http://www.ntdtv.com/xtr/b5/2014/08/31/a1134542.html

The single-engine aircraft was bound for Virginia’s Manassas Regional Airport, but was intercepted by NORAD fighter jets as it flew through restricted airspace Saturday afternoon. The jet pilots confirmed the pilot of the Cirrus SR20 was unconscious, but they escorted the plane for more than 120 miles before it ran out of fuel and crashed near Wallops Island. The pilot has not been identified, but a FlightAware activity log shows the plane is registered in Brookfield, Wisconsin and took off from the Waukesha Airport. It’s not clear where the pilot flew through restricted airspace, but attempts to reach the pilot starting at 1 p.m. failed.
