MOSCOW, Aug 13 (Reuters) - An explosion on a bus killed two people and injured 17 in the southwestern Russian city of Voronezh on Thursday evening, TASS news agency reported, and counterterrorism officials were coordinating investigations into the blast.
The cause of the explosion, which took place near a bus stop when about 30 people were on board the bus, was still unclear.
Video footage published online showed the blast tearing the vehicle apart from the inside, with windows and debris sent flying in all directions.
Specialists of the FSB security service were studying materials from the site, the National Antiterrorism Committee said in a statement, adding it was looking for those responsible for the incident.

〔即時新聞／綜合報導〕俄羅斯西南部城市沃羅涅（Воронеж）於12日，發生1起公車爆炸意外，當時1輛載滿35名乘客的公車，停駛於購物中心附近，卻突然爆炸，瞬間冒出熊熊火光，嚇壞路過的民眾及車輛，意外造成1死15傷，恐怖過程全被路過車輛，用行車紀錄器給拍下。
綜合外媒報導，晚間9點左右，該輛公車行駛市中心，停靠在某間購物中心時，卻突然起火爆炸，這起意外造成1名女性，因小腿嚴重燒傷，送醫後不治，另外，還有3人在加護病房急救，其餘12名乘客傷勢較輕微。
根據畫面顯示，該輛公車突然起火爆炸，伴隨爆炸聲響與火光，車窗當場碎裂，車體也被炸開。當時正好有輛小貨車與轎車，行經公車旁，但所幸爆炸範圍只有波及後車箱，並沒有造成更大傷亡。
對此，當地警方初步調查，疑似是因公車車頂的氣瓶爆炸，排除為恐怖攻擊，而公車公司也表示，該車輛為柴油車，車上並沒有燃油設備，因此才將車頂裝上氣瓶。但地方政府仍要求所有公車司機，日後必須提醒乘客，注意車上是否有可疑物品。
