
〔即時新聞/綜合報導〕第58屆國際小姐(Miss International)選美大賽日前在東京落幕,由25歲泰國籍的藥師詩麗通(Sireethorn Leearamwat)贏得后冠,此次也是國際小姐大賽首度由泰國佳麗摘下后冠。
綜合媒體報導,此為現年25歲的詩麗通人生首度參加選美比賽,她畢業於第一學府碼希敦大學(Mahidol University),平時的職業是一位藥劑師,詩麗通先從泰國小姐選美比賽中取得參賽資格,直到日前在「國際小姐大賽」上與世界各國82位佳麗競爭,在摘下後冠後,詩麗通於致詞時指出,她在當選泰國小姐時遭受各方批評,但是從未放棄,她還表示「我敢於夢想成為選美皇后」。
自1960年以來,「國際小姐」一直都是日本一年一度的選美比賽,與環球小姐(Miss Universe)、世界小姐(Miss World)、地球小姐(Miss Earth)合稱為「世界四大選美比賽」。
根據外媒報導,繼1965年的阿帕絲拉(Apasra Hongsakula)與1988年的彭緹(Porntip Nakhirunkanok)先後摘下環球小姐后冠後,詩麗通是第三位贏得四大選美比賽的泰國人,

Sireethorn Leearamwat (Thai: สิรีธร ลีห์อร่ามวัฒน์; born 24 December 1993) is a Thai beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss International 2019. She is the first woman from Thailand to win Miss International, and the first Thai delegate to win one of the Big Four international beauty pageants since Bui Simon was crowned Miss Universe 1988. Prior to winning Miss International, Leearamwat was crowned Miss Thailand 2019. Outside of pageantry, Leearamwat works as a pharmacist.
Leearamwat was born in Bangkok, Thailand. She attended Mahidol University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree.[1] After graduating, she began working as a pharmacist in Bangkok.[2][3][4]
Leearamwat began her pageantry career in 2019, in the Miss Thailand 2019 competition. After receiving the right to represent Bangkok, she was ultimately selected as one of the representatives from Central Thailand to participate in the main competition. In Miss Thailand 2019, Leearamwat initially advanced to the top twenty, then top eight, and was ultimately crowned Miss Thailand 2019. As Miss Thailand 2019, Leearamwat received the right to represent Thailand at Miss International 2019.[5][6][7]
Leearamwat arrived in Tokyo to compete in Miss International 2019 in October 2019. Finals night was ultimately held on 12 November 2019. Leearamwat advanced from the initial group of 83 delegates to the top fifteen, later reaching the top eight, and then ultimately being crowned the winner by outgoing titleholder Mariem Velazco of Venezuela. With her win, Leearamwat became the first Thai woman to be crowned Miss International, and the first since Bui Simon was crowned Miss Universe 1988 to win one of the Big Four international beauty pageants.[8][9][10]
