Japanese porn is popular not only in Japan, but globally. It’s one of the nation’s most loved exports.

Over the past few years, more female actors have appeared on the scene, but the number of dudes has fallen into sharp decline. This phenomenon has attracted international attention.

Currently in the industry, there are about 70 men to service 10,000 women.

Maybe not as surprising as it sounds given the news reports reminding us that ever greater numbers of Japanese men foregoing sexual relationships with women. 

Here in Taiwan, Japanese porn has a massive audience. The industry has even put together a talent competition for locals interested in a career in porn.

Most fellas are probably enticed by the idea of rolling up to work each day to have sex with a different beautiful porn star.

Yet the actors must be able to control their responses and deliver the goods at the snap of a director’s fingers. And that’s no easy feat.
