At least two workers died and three others were injured after a building collapsed in Florence, Tuscany region, on Friday, local authorities said.Rescuers believed at least three more workers were buried in the rubble, Tuscany regional governor Eugenio Giani told local media. He said rescue operations were going on.Firefighters said they were called in at around 9 a.m. local time (0800 GMT). It was the slab of a prefabricated building in a mall complex under construction that collapsed in northwest Florence.Eight people were reportedly working at the site when the incident occurred.

義大利嚴重工安事故建物倒塌釀3死3傷2失蹤

〔即時新聞／綜合報導〕義大利托斯卡尼大區首府佛羅倫斯的連鎖超市Esselunga工地，16日發生梁柱掉落並連帶造成施工中建物倒塌的事故，已知有3人死亡、3人受傷、2人下落不明，目前還在搜救當中。

據《美聯社》報導，托斯卡尼大區主席賈尼（Eugenio Giani）表示，事故發生時約有50名工人在超市工地，其中8人位於建物倒塌的位置，3名生還者傷勢嚴重送醫治療，沒有生命危險。

賈尼透露，當時有1輛載著學童的校車經過附近，因此這起事故差點變得更為慘烈，未來必須防止類似情況再度發生。目前工地已被暫時封鎖，檢方正朝過失殺人方向偵辦。

歐盟統計局資料顯示，義大利2021年通報了601起工安死亡事件，在歐盟裡僅次於法國。
